Xmas in Nov Fedex is here!

I feel bad for the driver....7:30PM and she is still delivering in MN.
Was out for delivery at 7AM, and still has to drive back to WI.
Not my dream job.
I hope to get two more boxes on Thusday.

Got my bulbs, now its just the ballasts.
Id like to keep my hood on the 125, how should I set the lights in?
Fasten them to my hood, or make a frame just for the lights?
are fans needed?

Since your not overdriving the T5s on Icecaps, fans are not 100% necessary but the cooler they run the more output so optimally fans could be used. I just have my fans turn on when the tank temp reaches certain levels and opted not to have the fans on for the entire light cycle.

Up to you how to mount. Fastening directly to your hood really depends on how tall it is. In general, height of the lights should be no higher than 3-4" off the tank to maximize the intensity. I mounted the endcaps on some wood braces then mounted the wood into the hood so they would be the proper height.

My honey is a UPS driver and yeah, you should feel sorry for delivery drivers this time of year. They get beat all to hell and hate their jobs and drink a hell of a lot more.
