It's a longshot, but anybody have one for sale? I've got a 30g fighting massive nitrate levels.

That's a good skimmer,I've got the Pro on my 40 gallon reef.Just so you know skimming doesn't take nitrates out,but you still need a great skimmer on a saltwater tank!

I'm also interested in a gently used Aqua C Remora if there is more than 1 available.

Technically thats true .. however, everything that a skimmer takes out of a tank would have eventually decomposed and fed the nitrate problem.

Yeah I know, the water changes take care of that. I'd just like them to be less frequently necessary. Thanks though. Just looked at skimmers at some LFSs...I didnt think it was gonna be $200.

The reviews for the Nautilus are very good. There are likely better choices out there.

While I guess $$ always is an issue a good oversized skimmer is one of the better investments in this hobby and will pay future dividends by spending the money now for a real good one. This is coming from a reefer who I took almost 10years to figure that out......
