WTB: A few things that some of you may have laying around

Ok, not wanting all of these right now till after the first of the year (money is tight!) But I wanted to know if you guys had some or what.

Looking for a cheap Mag pump, or some other type...cheap being the key word

maxi powerheads 1200...need 4

VHO/NO endcaps (2 sets = 2 bulbs)

bulb holders (little clip things) 2 sets

thats all I can think of for now

anyone got these things?

What size of a mag pump are you looking for? I have a couple of these.

If you would like to go external, I have a couple Iwaki pumps that I will be selling by the end of the year.

well I don't need too big, I would be willing to go external as well.

Cheaper the better! I can go as small as the mag5

I've got the coralife electronic ballast with end caps. Used less then 1 month before upgarding my lighting when I switched over to a reef. I may have the bulb clips, i'll have to dig a bit.

Here is the ballast and end caps:

MJ 1200s run really warm, and suck twice as much juice as a 900. I'd stay away from the 12s.

so you don't think the extra flow you get from the 12s is worth the extra heat/power? and should just go with 900?

From what I've gathered reading around, people avoid the 1200's for this issue.

Just so you can see the difference.

Maxi 900= 230 GPH 8.5 Watts
Maxi 1200 = 295 GPH 20 Watts

Need I say more???

Dang it, I just bought two new 1200's about 2 weeks ago. Wish I would have known this, but I'll chalk it up to my lack of research.
