WTB 90 gallon setup.
Hey guys, always seem to be a few hours late on nice deals from folks selling their systems so decided I'd try posting proactively instead.
On a tight budget. I'd really like to find someone leaving the hobby or moving around the northern midwest. I'm in the Twin Cities but will travel to Wisconsin (western), Iowa (north and east Iowa), and anywhere in Minnesota to pick it up.
Hoping to pay $1,000.00 give or take.
Wife says stand and canopy have to be oak. A piece of furniture that'll fit in our family room/den. Tank can be all glass or acrylic. Looking for decent sized sump, skimmer and power compact/metal halide lighting.
I've seen several systems that meet these specs but always a bit late in getting to them. If you know someone or you yourself are looking to sell shoot me a PM here or an email at t.syverson@comcast.net.
Thanks.
Todd

Todd,
I have a 90 gallon with a custom (made myself) Oak stand and canopy. It has 2 bulkheads drilled in the upper rear corners on the back. I have a 30 gallon that I used as the sump on it, so could include that as well. Unfortunately, that's all I have - I don't have any equipment to sell.
If you are interested, let me know and we can talk prices...the oak is more of a red oak color, not the light stuff.

Oh suuure! Now he'll want a ton more for it! lol Thanks alot Braves Guy! : )
I just forwarded the link to the wife to check out. While its not the exact same color as the woodwork we have in the place it would go I'll just have to convince her that we need to replace the rest of the furniture. Right?
As I was telling Graham, the reason I'm looking for more of a complete system is my ineptitude for anything "handy" like wiring or plumbing. My eyes glaze over when I see the acronym PVC. If we go with something like this I'm going to need a lot of you all's coaching.

Thanks Twins Guy!
Todd, there is only one pic of the stand/canopy in that article, but it gives you a general idea of what it looks like....I'll send you more pics this evening.
I'd be glad to help out with plumbing advice, etc...

Thanks Graham!
I'll get back to you tomorrow with feedback. Initial wife reaction is the stain is a bit dark and red. Maybe I could lighten the stain or strip and restain...just typing out loud here. Wonder what aquarium equipment I might get if I traded in the wife....oops! : )
