WTB 75 gallon mega-flow tank
I am looking for a 75 gallon All-glass mega-flow tank. The best price I can find new is $240. If you know of anywhere cheaper or if you have a used one that you are selling please let me know.
Thanks,
Brady

I would assume that. That's what he told me the price would be around if I waited. I also found premier pets was cheaper on tanks.

I just swapped out a 2 month old Oceanic 75 gallon with a MegaFlow for a 90 gallon. The 75 gallon tank is brand new (purchased fall 2004). I switched because I noticed the sealant on the upper front left corner was defective and was allowing water between the glass panes in a couple of areas. No leaks, just defective sealent that should be removed and re-sealed. This could easily be resolved with a razor blade and some new silicone sealant. Please reply if you are interested.

Why wouldn't you return it to the store and get your money back?

I tried - I had the tank on a DIY stand and they won't honor the warranty unless it was on an Oceanic stand. The problem was a flaw with the tank, not the stand, but neither the LFS or Oceanic will honor the warranty.

Wow I know how that goes. What is sad is your DIY stand was probably better than oceanics stand. Even though they are starting to make some nice stuff.

I remember hearing the "you have to buy one of our stands to have our warranty" line before. And IIRC Oceanic came out and said that their warranty covers the tank regardless of the stand. I think that was over on reefcentral somewhere. I am taking your post to mean that they have changed their policy back then. Someone should contact Oceanic and get a real, offical answer from them.
Lars.

Yes - I contacted Oceanic after I got the run around from the LFS and they gave me the same answer - no warranty honored without an Oceanic stand.
