whoo hooo back in the game.

Well, things have been crazy for me for the last year but things are going my way, someone is going to give me a 75 gallon tank. So I can now get back into the swing of things. I am looking forward in setting up a new reef tank.

Thanks Steve,
Will keep you to that.
I should start posting picks once I get the tank. I talked to the guy here at work and has the tank and stand. He said I could have it. And I do miss my reef tank after it croaked in 04. The nano I have isnt cutting it for me.
But I am not sure if I should just go strickly SPS, I have the lights, or softies. I do enjoy my Zoos.

Ok folks, I just got my tank today, its an Oceanic I believe. It has the glass for the separation on the top. Its made of thick heavy glass, so its not an AGA. Now I need to think about how to set it up and when. Money is very tight right now and need to take it easy. But I will post pictures of it later here.

Thanks Trodder, do appreciate that, I have wanted to start up again, had a tank geared up to buy but couldn’t afford it and then this Freebie came by and I can not argue with the price.

Actually what I could use is just an old hang on back skimmer. I have some old rock that has been in storage for awhile that needs to be cured. I just put everything in a container when my tank crashed, so it has some dead stuff on it. Old tank cracked on me, so out it went. Found out the other week, my skimmers both were cracked and now useless. *Sigh*

So number one thing to hunt down is a used skimmer for the tank; its not reef ready so I am not sure I can afford to get it drilled and buy all the parts from there. So I think I am just going to go with the standard setup at first. And then when I finally move out of this place, then I will tear it down and then have it drilled.
