Which tub to put the skimmer in?

Getting ready to drain the tank in the next couple days and put all the rock, small number of corals and most of the water into 40 gallon tubs to move, drill etc. the tank. I'm planning to put all rock in one tub, the corals on their own in another tub and one or two other tubs just for water.

The question is which tub do you think I should put the skimmer in? The corals or rock? It'll be for about 5 or 6 days total, or maybe I should alternate, a couple days in one a couple days in the other...

I'd put it on the corals.

The rock should be fine without it, just blow off detritus etc. with a turkey baster every so often especially before putting back in the tank.
