where to find reactor media and co2 locally


getting my MRC CR2 calcium reactor tomorrow in the mail!!!!!
i need to find some reactor media. anybody got some left over or know where i can get it for cheap?

also where do i fill up my co2 tank?

Cheapest CO2 I've found is Ice Man in St Paul. They mainly sell dry ice, but they'll fill a 20lb CO2 cylinder for about $14.

Carib Sea Geomarine Crushed coral. Can get it at just about any LFS. That is what I used for 6 years. If you want to go with ARM or other specialty media locally may not be the cheapest route.

Tank it depends on if you just want to exchange it for a full one or fill your tank. Usually if you want to fill your tank you have to leave it for at least a day. I always just did the exchange and was out the door in 5 minutes at Toll welding....

Allsafe fire on washington N a couple blocks south of Plymouth and Washington fills O2 tanks. I think I paid like 10.00 for a fill on 20lb. but don't quote me.. Reactor media I get at SF
