Oh, geez that looks like pinched mantle big time. If it were me I would do a FWD on this right away, even though derassas are normally not effected to this level by pinched mantle it's the only thing I can think.

Lets hear about your tank, perams, and lighting.

Its a 75 gal tank with 75 gal fuge/sump
6 65watt PC's
2 Seio 1500's
ASM G4+
Chaeto in fuge

Havent done testing in a while
temp 81
salinity 1.025 or 35ppm

The other clam in the tank is doing fine, along with all the other corals and fish

Curious, what is a pinched mantle? How can you tell? What causes it?

Thanks,

best to do a fw dip. Get the ph and the temp similar and then run with it. I dont remember how long you are supposed to do it for. Hopefully someone else will chime in with that info, fwiw, I have the same issue on 2 of my clams right now, so I will be doing it tomorrow also.

I do know that pinched mantle is contagious among clams, so if you have more than one, keep an eye on the others.

Good deal, I'm glad you did the freshwater dip, if anything can help that will. your lighting is plenty for a Derassa clam, but do keep an eye on your CA and ALK as it will drop quickly when that clam takes off.
