What's needed for an anemone tank?

So I just went down stairs and now I have 4 RBTAs last night was 3! My splits are not little buggers, within just a week or 2 they are really large, I feed them all the time so they eat very well! Anyhow what if I wanted to raise RBTAs, what is needed? Think it's gotta be time for a 180/210 soon if I get too many more, but I've had one move and touched many corals and hasn't bothered a thing yet(keeps fingers crossed)

My Clowns are loving the assortment of RBTAs to play in!

I would say pretty much a standard reef setup, lots of flow, a good skimmer, and MH lighting helps them grow faster than the others.

I only feed mine 1x every 2 weeks, and they grow faster than I would like. Only problem with bta's is that they are tough to remove when you get a split.

If you wanted an anenome only tank you would first want an anenome... Which you already have. Then you would want some good VHO lighting or MH. BTAs seem to do better under VHO than MH but just okay under PCs. Then you would want moderate flow and a nice viewing pane No feedings needed... I stopped feeding mine when I realized a 16" RBTA was a bit big for the tank

maybe when I get another split you cn get my strand that doesn't split until it is the size of Texas Ask Loralie about the one I sold her... it was the smaller of the two when it split and it was still massive... and from what I hear still growing quick.

It was a large split....I also has amazing color. It likes to hide itself in the shade so I think the halide gets a little much sometimes.

I have one from that strain that is almost 6" now. I also have another one (that I am holding for Wags) that just split again. I think it depends on how often the feedings are.

Guess what, #5 is currently almost completely born. When I get home Sunday I am sure I will have the 5, who knows, a 6th maybe at the rate they are going.

So when will/do clones start splitting? Some of them are getting pretty big....

there is actually no perfect science that is known as of yet as to when or why they split... feedings are not always the reason they split... like I said i used to feed once a day or once every other day with my green BTA and RBTA and they just got massive until the tank would crash and then that seemed to cause them to split.
