What would you tell a guy that wanted to get a couple/few clams?

start with Derasa or Squamosa.
if u want to try blue maxima u got to put them up high.

I would say start with Derasa... they are a good beginner clam

When ordering them takes a really close look at the pictures and make sure they don't have "pinched mantle disease."
