unfinished stands

As I've mentioned I'll be moving my tank to replace carpet etc. at the end of the month. This is all as part of giving a more coordinated look to our office. With that in mind I'm thinking of replacing my stand, which has some splitting and warping from big spills over the years, with an unfinished one that I can stain cherry to match the furniture to come etc. I considered building my own but I don't think I'll really have the time to do it.

What's the best source for stands? It's a 4x2x2 AGA

I might have an oak stand (unfinished) for a 75/90g with the canopy and the oak trim to cover the tank material for sale. It all depends on whether or not I go with the used tank I am going to see tomorrow morning.

PM me if you want to see pcitures and include an e-mail address.

Thanks

P.S. off the top of my head I don't know the price, because I have to look at what I paid for it minus shipping. It is from bluereefaquatics.com incase you want to look at them.

Sorry Dwight it's a 120 tank, but your post about unfinished stand is what got me thinking about it. I've actually thought about it a little more and it might be easiest to just strip the stain off the exsisting stand and reinforce it with 2x4's as I had planned to anyway.

I would have Devin build you a steel stand and then have him powder coat it...Then just get a wood facade that can easily be removed to give you plenty of access to the goodies underneath.
