one more turboflotor question. where do you guys find is the best place to set the sump water level, relative to the skimmer for best preformance with the OR2700? I put that on last night and it is now skimmiœ

Since the skimmer is not very tall, I really like to build a pedestal and have the whole thing above the water level with only the feed pump in the sump. While not 100% sure how much if any that does for consistancy at least it keeps the heat from the OR2700 out of the sump.

I always liked the level right where the elbows hang in the water, maybe an inch above to keep some on the evaportion down a little

by elbows are you refering to the elbow from the recirc pump, or the 2 little clear output pieces?
