Check to see if the rubber air intake line is clogged. Salt creep used to build up in my turboflotor from time to time.

broke? Id check the pumps and make sure air is flowing through the intake tube. Also check out the interface between the pump and skimmer where the venturi line comes in.

Broke meaning sucking no air or the pump impeller isn't spinning at all ?

Does it have the OR pump or the stock Rio2500? If it's the rio mine used to do this from time to time. Clean it out well, make sure the shaft is not broke and the impeller turns smoothly then try unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times unitil it starts. If that doesn't work then jumpstarting the impeller always worked for me.

I later upgraded to a OR2700 because I got tired of all that.

defintely consider the OR 3700 upgrade, it makes all the difference and is much more efficient and quiet. I got Marinedepot to do a match on a price I found for $60, dont remember where I found it....
