Trouble in paradise

I noticed today that my new Heniochus Butterfly is missing an eye. The current fish list is 3 Epaulette sharks, a 7" Sailfin Tang, a 5" Purple tang, a 6" Powder Blue Tang, a 6" Bicolor Foxface a 3" Gold Banded Maroon Clown and 3 Heniochus Butterfly's. The Powder Blue is making passes at the damaged Butterfly but isn't doing any damage that I can see. The Butterfly does not have any bite marks on him so it does not look like the sharks got to him. His fins are nipped up pretty good and the area around the missing eye is red. Who is the prime suspect with the list above? The Powder Blue and two Butterfly's were added last Thursday and the Clownfish was added last Friday.

Of all my tangs, my sailfins have always been some of the biggest *******s of them all.

Not possible. He was happy and healthy for about 6 days. I'm hoping he will come back minus an eye but it isn't looking good. He's still swimming but he did not eat today. His banner was ripped completely off too.

FWIW I had a full grown goldbar maroon and a large powder blue in my tank for over two years together along with a few other fish and the clown was always the more aggressive of the two, defending his turf and whatnot, while the powder blue was very docile and not aggressive at all and just cruised the whole tank peacefully. But with individual fish who knows? You might have ended up with the Charles Manson of the Tangs

Why would a schooling fish do that to its own kind? I have read some of your posts in the past about the Heniochus, do you have any other experience with them besides the one tank with the slow moving puffer?
