Trade: Computer Stuff for Coral

Hey there,

Any computer geeks in the area looking for a way to upgrade their computer? In return for working on a friends computer, he gave me some things I'd like to trade for corals or frags. Looking mainly for LPS, SPS, snails, hermit crabs, some chaeto but feel free to make an offer.

What I have, approximate worth, and links to their descriptions:

1. New in box NVIDIA NFORCE3-A K8 HT1600 motherboard ~$50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135192

2. New OEM AMD Sempron 3100+ CPU that fits the above motherboard ~$75
http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=SDA-3100&c=pw

3. New Zalman Heat sink and Fan ~$30
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118112

4. Used 160 Gigabyte Western Digital hard drive ~$63 (when New). Comes with cables...works fine, did a complete diagnostics test on it yesterday.

Basically, all you would need more is memory, a video card, computer case, mouse and keybord, operating system software, and monitor. You may be able incorporate this stuff into an older PC you already have. I can help, if you'd like. If you have questions let me know.

OK...One bump and I promise I won't bother you anymore! No computer officianados/reefers that might be interested in this stuff...again looking for primarily LPS, secondly SPS, clams, along with some chaeto, snails, and hermits. I would also be interested in a used calcium reactor or a used hang-on skimmer. Feel free to make an offer with other things as well though...this computer equipment isn't doing me any good sitting on my shelf.

Would also like to add in a used 17 inch color monitor..works great, just don't need it since I converted to a laptop.

Thanks,

Tim

You're right Mary...the motherboard won't fit your 2.08 GHz Athlon. It's a newer style, with a different socket size.

I have had one person interested in the hard drive so far, but it's not definitive yet. The rest of the stuff was just claimed by JnS.

The hard drive was formatted initially when new, then had Windows XP Home edition on it, then I did a full reformat again last week.
