First and foremost... I have no idea of the ID on these... if you know feel free to chime in.... Secondly, the colors you see are not accurate I can't get my camera to take good pics... The first is really cool it looks like a mille but it is not, that much i know based on the guy at the LFS telling me what it was but I forgot. It is actaully a bright pink with bright blue tips.

The next one is the hardest to get an accurate pic of it. It is a North Carolina Tar Heel kinda blue and basically a pearly kind of white. The pic makes the white like almost a brownish purplish color.

The third coral is a blue tipped something or another and the rest is browned out... I decided to take a chance on it coloring up nicer than the brown crap you see in the pic. I took a chance simply because I liked the growth pattern as well as blue tips turn me on...

The last is really cool... it is a whitish-yellowish with blue and green tips... I may frag this one out a little to help cover the cost of these as well as the cost to have them shipped home I am thinking of $10 to $20 a frag based on size. If anyone is interested in a frag just shoot me a PM... I can bring them to the meeting if you like.

There is a couple of corals at the LFS I saw that are not available for purchase at this time that I will eventually get my hands on though.... There is the most insane flourecent pink and flourecent orange yuma you have ever saw!!! In fact it was the sweetest yuma I have ever seen or heard of!!! I wish I would have got pics. Just as a side note... the place I got this stuff I believe is the originator of the Oregon Tort... The one they have in their display tank is the size of a college football!! It was amazing!!!

I wish I could get accurate colors of the corals with my pics... the only one that looks accurate is the crappy brown with blue tips (second to last coral.) The are all more brilliant than the pics show...

It is a Samsung Digimax 420... It does have white balance but I can't seem to get it to help very much. With 2 20k 400w XMs and 2 95w URI VHO actinics... a whole lotta blue....

2nd coral

I run about the same lights. Just no actinics. So as far as the white balance...can you take a measurement or is it only presets? My nikon lets you take a measurement. So what I do is point it at the whitest sand and take the measurement and go from there.

It does presets only that I went back to look at it...Do you look at the whitest sand and then set it so the sand looks perefectly white or at least close to???

Any speculation as to what the 2nd coral is?? It almost looks like a tort, but the way it branches out makes me believe it is not... each branch is really pretty thick too...

Kind of... I point it at the sand then go to the measurement. Push the button and the camera automatically adjust to the light. Or at least pretty close.

But yes if you can get the sand to appear white then the rest of the colors should come in line also.

As far as an ID I gave that up but to me it looks like a lighter variety of the aquacultured ones coming in labeled as Echinata. Similar to what we all call the torts.

Nice pickups. Good thing you didn't send them here, or else they may not have left.

Nice to see the pieces made it in one piece.

The first is prostata
The second is gomezi
The third is pulchra
The forth is cerealis(not sure on the spelling)
Sorry for not labeling the bags.

Thanks again for the purchase
