thank you vertical! for not buying this.


i was at jerrys tonight helping him get the 6"x3" tank plumbed up the the sump. and to my suprise there was this awesome table acro there. i suprised you passed up buying this coral vertical. any ways thanks its mine now. well until you decide you want a frag anyways. lol
if the wife had her way i would be broke and had to aclimate corals and clams all night. lol. she wanted more corals than i did. suprise suprise. i think she is addicted. jerry you got some nice stuff in today. sorry for the bad photos. i have to get a macro lens.

I thought about it but I have allready arranged a piece ot this one. And with so little realestate why have 2...



OTOH that one might really turn into a show stopper and then I will need to have 2 anyway

looks nice in your tank I agree with your wife, you should have been up all night aclimating corals

Looks bleached but I think thats better then a brownout as they seem to color up better. My guess is it's a piece of Acro Efflorescens would like to see a picture a month or two down the road. Jerry is really getting better at aquiring the stuff we want.

i dont think its bleached. i think thats its natural color. i hope it is anyways. its a yellow green base with blue tips. it just dont show up that well with my crapy picture taking.

not bleached at all, but I think it has better color potential ahead.

Jim- I have to pull in more fuzzy sticks to keep all you fuzzy stick nuts happy

it is definately not bleached... it is purple tipped with cream yellow base... by the way Scott from what I can tell in the pic that is the same color as the one frag I gave you is going to be with blue tips...

If it just came in it's somewhat stressed from shipping, very similar to a bleaching event where some of the zooxanthaelle is expelled. It will also be somewhat susceptible to higher light levels causing a true bleaching event. I would recommend starting the coral under lower light levels until you notice the color darken sowmehat and then feel free to raise it up in the tank. My personal experience with efflo's is they stress easily and like lower light levels in most cases.
