Matt, he eats everything......shrimp, squid, spirulina but is favorite is clams.

Did he accept prepared foods right away? I have heard they can be tough to find the right foods to accept.

He took everything right away, but I didnt get him from a store. Got him from another club member about 2 years ago.
He had him for about 6 months.
So thats 2 1/2 years and still thriving!
Thats his picture in my avatar.

Congrats on your election to Chief Coordinator Scott. Your tanks look great. Did your M. Idol eat the coral polyps when you had him in the reef tank? Do they only eat the softies or are the SPS in for a picking on too?

Gary, started out not touching a thing in the reef for about 3 months then started to go after the SPS corals only. So I took him out and put in the fish only.
