Super Glue Gel - Super Cheap !!!
Meanard has a 2pk of Super Glue Gel on sale for 33cents. Usually they are about $1.20 each so that's close to 75% off.
Sale ends 1/16/2005.
I bought 10 of them yesterday.

I just got back from there I picked up 100. I figure I will use all of them eventually, I supposed that if I go to the next meeting (wherever that may be and when) I could bring some for some people.

Anyone used the stuff yet.
I opened a pack for the first time yesterday. Using the supplied nozzle, it was tough to squeeze it out of the tube. Next will probably not even use the nozzle. I think it's too thick for such a small end.

Used it without the nozzle, I agree that the end on the nozzle is too small.

Some of the tubes I opened were thicker than others. Is there a shelf life on this stuff? I wonder if that is whyit was on sale.
I have had better luck with other gel based superglues.

I used one tube tonight when I fragged some stuff and didn't really have a problem. It was a little thicker than some Gel but not bad. Two reasons you may have problems, one the tip needs to be cut bigger, 2nd when you screw the tip on and it puntures into the glue tube, that hole may not puncture very far. You might want to punture it before you screw the tip on.

All cyanoacrylates have a shelf life which vary with the quantity in the container as follows:
1/4 ounce - six months
1/2 ounce - 9 months
1 ounce - 12 months
2 ounces - 1 year +
4 ounces - 2 years +
For long periods of storage, place unopened bottles in the freezer at or below 32 degrees. You can expect room temperature shelf life to double. It is very important to remember that this applies only to bottles which have never been opened. Always allow the bottle to come to room temperature before opening. Store used bottles at room temperature. This is because used bottles contain air from your workroom and that air contains moisture. When cooled, moisture condenses to water reducing shelf life. Always keep bottles upright when not in use.

I've tried the cheap kind and it hardly works like the original Super glue, but you can sometimes find them in the dollar store for 3@$1.00.

I guess they're all going in the freezer then!
