sponge question


Are the yellow sponge that Schulace123posted a picture of good to have? I have 4-5 of them growing in my tank.

PS man does the LR stink when you cook them only had them in for about a week but PEEEWWWW man makes me gag!!!

For the most part spong is great. In some rare cases you may want to trim it back (encroching on a coral, you want that part of the rock to face up and you know it will get covered in algae and die).

When it doesn't stink you are closer to being done. The whole reason to cook is get the stink out
