Snails Spawning

About 3.5 months ago I noticed I had a baby trochus (purple stripe turbo snail) snail in my tank, it was about .25" in diameter. The smallest one I bought was about .75" in diameter, and I haven't bought any new snails for over a year. The baby grew to about 1" in diameter in about 3 months. So about I week ago I watched a snail release a bunch of sperm into the water, but I didn't see any snails shooting eggs out. But tonight I found this guy, he is about .125" in diameter, and it looks like an exact replica of the full grown snails. Pics are blurry cause my camera wouldn't focus on something so small.

Anybody else see anything spawn in their tank?

I've noticed some in my sump/fuge too. I have no idea what kind they are, but they seem to be growing and more showing up. Didn't know what they really were for a while since you couldn't make out the features, they were just little specs on the glass. My tanks only been up since July 4, so I was quite pleased to see them.

I had snails do the same thing. At first I thought something was wrong.

Devin I have a bunch of these banded trochus that are popping up out of nowhere. I haven't added one for well over a year. It is a good thing.

Wow, I didn't know the Trochus's reproduced so easily. I know the Strobus sp reproduce with relative ease. I'll have to buy some trophus next time I see them at the LFS.

I wonder how likely Ceriths are to reproduce in captivity?

Yeah, I've had Strombus reproduce, but nothing else.
You been playing lots of Barry White around the house, Koi Boy?
