Slow RO/DI on a 1HP Well 40 psi 53F

I recently bought a 100 gpd from Marc@Melev's Reef. I'm not even seeing 25 gpd. It's probably because I'm on a 1HP well @ 40 psi and the water is cold (53F).

I'm trying the coiled in-let hose in a bucket of 76F water to see if it helps any...doesn't seem to yet.

Any ideas on how I might improve my water output?

Jim ( Fahz ) is the expert but it sounds like you need a booster pump. I think the #1 cause is the low pressure. I'm sure he would be able to tell you what the minimum pressure should be, but I'm fairly certain yours is way too low.....

I had the same problem and was able to resolve it with a booster pump. Huge difference. Don't know if there are any details that need to be addressed with a well though.
