schooling fish?

how many is too many for a 150G tank?
thinking add about 20-30 green chromis?
can i add 15 green and 15 blue chromis?
i dont have 4 firefish school togather, but i cant do that now thank to the crazy purp tang.

never have chromis before.

My experience is that chromis are pretty hit and miss. My rule is what ever you add divide by two as that is what you will end up with. From what I have heard they are caught with cyanide and seems that only half of what you add will make it.

I only lost 1 of the 5 I got from petco, Had them for about a year till I gave them away.

Could get some type of cardinal fish. For a brief period Jerry had 4 copperbands in his 4x4 and they all schooled together, it was SWEET!! They formed a diamond shoal with one in the front, two behing and one in the back -=-> If I thought I could keep them alive I would do that in a second.
