RO Filters

Does anyone know if you can just use the replacement filters from Home Depot for the sediment and carbon cartridges? That is what the installation guy told my Dad when he had his installed.

They are the same size, but I haven't seen any with the lower micron's. I went with replacements from Air Water Ice dot com as that's what folks recommended.

as long as they are the same micron I would think it would not be a problem.

Typically the home depot ones are 5 or 10micon. If you went with the larger micron you cau use up your membrane faster. If you can find at HD a 1micron sediment and carbon then yes it would work....
