RO/DI Units
Well I'm going to order my RO/DI Unit today. I've been looking around and I'm pretty sure I'm going to order a Typhoon III from www.airwaterice.com with the float valve for auto top off. This unit is 214.00 and with the float valve and shipping 250.00 to my door. I have a 75 gallon tank, and I plan to get the 75gpd high-rejection one.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for a unit or is this the best one to go with?

keep in mind though Jake with the Airwaterice unit you are getting a pressure gage, the flush kit, DI bypass, TDS meter, float valve, and about the easiest installation anyone could ask for. All that shipped for $250. The other guy will have it close to $150 after being shipped. That extra $100 is well worth it!

Does it include an automatic shut-off. That is nice because without the unit will fill the tank, float valve will stop good water, but waste water is still being made. The shut-off kits stop the waste water also.
Not necessary but nice.

I would stick with airwaterice. I bought my first unit from e-bay and it was a piece of junk. I am not saying everything on e-bay is junk. The typhoon IMO does an excellent job. It is well worth the extra cash. When you buy from those vendors on e-bay you really don't know what you are going to get. The typhoon is a lot better quality than most units I have seen.

Thanks everyone I ordered it today since they will be delaying shipping of their units for a week.

Hi FastFish, I bought exactly that last fall. Can't complain! Seemed to be a good choice after my research as well.

Exact unit I bought last fall as well. I really like it. The auto shut off is a great option.
