Ro/di

I bought a 5 stage + DI Reverse Osmosis system last summer since I didn't want to use St. Clouds tap water. It is from Water General. I got it on ebay since it was cheap. And yes, it works wonderful. However, I dont know when and how to replace the filters. In the first 3 stages, there is a Sediment filter, and 2 Pre-Carbon filters, than above that there are another 2 small filters, a Carbon and Membrane, then finally the DI. I dont have to worry about hard water since we have a water softener. Any ideas?

In general, sediment and carbon every 6 months. Depending on iron level etc. sediment may need changed more often.

Membrane every 2-3 years.

DI all depends on usage and water quality coming out of the membrane. Best to get a TDS meter ( $20-30 ) to know when DI is exhausted.
