QT lights

I am finally going to be setting up a QT and was thinking of using PC. I am using a 30 for the tank so the lights would have to be less than 36" long. I have alomost all softies so I do not need MH.

I am wondering what I should get for lights and what wattage I should get. I have T5 now but do not really want to spend the money on T5 for something that I am not going to be running all that much.

wouldn't think it matters that much PC ot T5
I read to try to keep the same as the tank you plan to put them in or around the intensity
