pumps


looking for a couple of pumps one has to at least 1500-1800 gallons/hour.

the one pump will be for a external skimmer and i'm working some others for returns.

What type of external skimmer ?

The pump Fahz mentions sound just about right for a return......

As compared to many other skimmers, that doesn't sound like a very energy effecient skimmer to require that large of a pump. Do you already own the skimmer ? Too late to choose another skimmer ?

Boy, it's pretty sad when the pump for the skimmer costs more than the skimmer itself. Your looking at a Mak5, Iwaki 70rlt or equivelent pump which costs $250 new, not to mention close to 200W of electricity to run it.
