Just some quick notes to all those interested in these puppies. In a long conversation my wife had with our vet, this is what you need to know about keeping a pug happy and healthy.... first know they are pretty prone to allergies, shed alot, and can be prone to breathing problems. To minimize or eliminate any breathy problems they need to kept very healthy... meaning NO FATTIES You should walk your pug often and keep them on a strict diet with no fattie treats. Also keep their wrinkly noses clean (maybe clean it once a week.) Also keep the nails nice and trim and obviously keep them up to date on shots, meds, etc... Of course as Bob Barker once told me.... "Don't forget to have your pet spayed or neutered."

Also with Pugs, remember that they don't handle temperature extremes well..... they are an indoor dog, below 45 and above 85 they have breathing problems, so if you plan on putting them outside in a yard all day well you are at work, they are not a good choice.

pug care

Pugs do shed tons but my little guy Cooper is nice and trim since he is a total spaz. By the way they are usually very full of energy and hyper. Beware of this. They absolutely love other people and dogs which is a good thing. Make sure to trim the nails down. I recommend a lamb and rice type dog food (I use nutro)because it makes the coat very shiny and soft. Beware of the anal glands too. Those are just plain nasty.

trodder, I promised the owner of the male pug pick of the litter and I dont know what he wants yet. If he wants a female you have dibs on the male.

Just keep me posted chief! My wife is now pretty hell-bent on getting one of your lovely baby pugs but my only stipulation is a male dog. How many weeks before they can be seperated from the mama? Or I guess more importantly how many weeks before you will be selling them?

Sounds good! I believe it is eight weeks, if we can handle having six puppys that long
