plumbing question

so i am getting ready to put water in this tank now. had it drilled with two 1" overflows and i have a Poseidon PS2 pump (up to 650 gallons per hour) .
I assume the pump is big enough as the HoB they were using had two 1" hoses on it . The return that came with the tank cant be used anymore because the overflow boxs are in the way of the spot that it used to go in and the VHO light gets in the way in the center(shown in pic below) so i have to make a new return. What would be the ideal way to return the water ?

this is what i was thinking. thought i'd split the return and have two 16-18" spray bars , one running along the top of each side of the tank. this sound good ? if so what size should the PVC for the spray bar be and how big should i make the holes ?

im guessing the return wont be enough water exchange so i will have to have a few powerheads also ?

I have two smaller pumps for redundancy. I would use either a closed loop or two 900's facing each other to move water. Use your return to just get the water back from your sump. I know Dirk gets great water movement this way. You can always upgrade as there are many other good ways to do it. If you have the money, you can use streams and wave makers and...but if money is an issue and you want to get it off the ground and still have effective set-up go with two powerheads facing each other.

Sounds like you're set. Maybe someone else will chime in, but I guess I would just get the water back to the display as easy as possible and move your water within the display. All your eggs won't be in one basket that way.

Old pic, but if you look at the pipe in the back, 1", that is my return going to a low spray bar via a Mag 7. The loc line you see, left and right, was on an OR 6500. WIll get hooked up to a MD55 this weekend. Oh, my how that picture has changed.
