Exclamation

Please give this a look fast

Just curious, is this worth it or do you think I need a unit with more stages?

Thanks,

Looks like a 3 stage?!? Doesn't even have a gpd on it. That said, it would be better than tap water, but you may be better off in the long run dropping $150 for a good one...

Pretty limited info. I would email the person and find out how many Gallons per day. Additionally it looks to only have sediment and carbon filters. Do you have any desire to use DI ? If so easy to add down the line. But even nicer to have all built in as one unit.
All done and said my biggest concern would be how much water can it make for me in a short period of time.( you know those minor emergencies in reef keeping) If it meets that standard for you make your decision on DI. HTH

Keep in mind that if your water is extremely cold coming out of your tap, the GPD can be reduced by up to 50%.

Also, do you plan on using this for drinking water for your family, too? If so, you do not want DI.

Thanks for the replies, I decided to pass. I got home from 3 days out of town to Hair Algae and what I think s the start of Flatworms. I went into panic mode. I'll continue to make the weekly trip to SF for water.
