Phyto culture?

Does anyone know where I can find information of culturing phytoplankton?

I'm not certain of the best sources of info, but Aquatic Ecosystems sells a lot of the stuff you might need to do this. They also sell relevant books.

Also, the clownfish book by Joyce Wilkerson (one of the most nicely written aquarium-related books I have ever seen) has some detailed and very practical discussions of phytoplankton (and rotifer) culture.

Yeah, the clownfish book you were inquiring about earlier.

Unless your trying to raise live foods for fish rearing etc, even though it sounds easy and actually is easy it does require daily work, you have to be deligent with it, you let it slide just a day or so in your routine and can crash or get contaminated. Over time it became more trouble than it was worth IME.....
