Parasite Medication Help

I plan to add fish into my main tank (after two weeks in QT). I like to prepare the worst. I plan to order some medicine. I have two choice Kent Marine Rx Marine Parasite and Chem-Marin Stop Parasite. Is anyone has experience with these medicine. Please help.

Are you worried an outbreak will develop after the fish are added? If so, why not qt longer. Perhaps do a treatment of hyposalinity for good measure.

QT time is ok. I worried about my purple tang. The purple tang likes to beat up new fish.

From what I've read Rxp doesn't have a very high success percentage for parasite treatment. I have a bottle, but I've never used it.

I assume the purple tang is already in the main tank. If you can, trap the tang, introduce the new fish, and put the tang in QT for a timeout. That way he is always the last fish in the main tank and the new fish can acclimate without being harassed. The trick is catching him.
I have a purple too, so I know what you mean.
