Outlook is by far the best desktop email program in my opinion. You can always get a freeware program for anti spam... i.e.: nonag, cloudmark, etc.

I have outlook at work and my treo is all synced with it. It has my calendar as well, and I have goodlink, so things are automatically updated whenever I or my secretary or anyone else who has access to my computer make changes. That works SWEET!

However, for home, I just need a simple email program. I like firefox. Maybe thunderbird is similar enough that I'll like that too. I just think the 750 emails being downloaded all at once were too much for it. *shrug*

OIC, thunderbird is its own email program. Wonder why mozilla wouldn't just combine the two.

I got my treo a month or so before you got yours. What's really cool is that it automatically syncs my calendar. I've never been so on top of my schedule in my life.

The spam to this email addy is ridiculous. I'm thinking about talking to the admin about shutting the email addy down and just picking a new one. Oh, and you are more than welcome to explore my website history in my web browser.

I would be so screwed without the calendar/alert function! You are soooo right about being on top of the schedule deal I'd definitely ask for a new email addy and don't ever use it when you fill out surveys or sign up for things regardless of being work related. See if they can give you 2 addresses so you can use one for when you fill out forms. That's what I do now and after I see what comes from the site I can choose to block it or let it be.

Hey... I truly don't visit those kind of sites... trust.... after having to deal with so many other people calling me every week to solve their spam/pop-up/spyware problem due to those sites you could understand why I would never bother getting myself wrapped up in the same garbage. However any public email... especially one that is form an interent email service is going to get hit with spam... NO IFs, ANDs, or BUTs about it.
