When do you get to go on one of those State sponsored trade missions? I think Pawlenty is heading to China soon.

I had actually hoped to be on the road back this weekend but due to unexpected paperwork, will have to stay another 2-3 weeks.
Then its another month to cycle the tank. Geeze, it'll be a long month.
Finally moved the parents into the new house and moved all the shipped furniture from Guam. But got an out of the blue bill for over a $1,000 from the Tacoma port cause Homeland Security did a random check on the cargo. Thanks Osama.

Holy Crap Deseon. I thought a year and a half to take title on land was a pain, but at least we knew it would take awhile with the Costa Rican Gov't changing computers. Gotta love the foreign Gov'ts. $1,000 for a Cargo check seems steep, but you're prolly stuck. I may be able to help you cycle your tank faster than that. You setting up the same tank?

The Homeland Security guy told me that while my $1,000 may suck, the other four guys that got hit on the same spot check got stuck with an average bill of $2,500.
When your shipping bill is already $5,000, it sure hurts to pay another $2,500.
But they missed all my illegal knock off designer handbags, muuhahahaaa.
j/k
I am thinking/hoping for a bigger tank but not sure if I have the space.
If only I can ditch the gf's piano that she inhereted from her grandparets. God, a 120 would be perfect right there! She plays that thing like every other day while I would be loving the tank everyday. It's so unfair.
Yah, I'll be using the same tank but gonna work on having the equipment all orderly ala GShields style.
And hoping to cut down on the cycle time with some help. I know good things comes to those who wait but I really have waited long enough.

Devin, I checked out a couple stores in Tokyo and Osaka and saw some pretty cool stuff.
Were you able to check some out?

I went in the spring this year, I spent the majority of my time in Nagasaki and they had nothing down there. I did check out a supply warehouse up in Niigata though, it was only dry good though. I only spent on night in Tokyo, I found one pet store in shin-juku, but they only sold puppies, kittens and monkeys.
Do you know what borough the fish stores were in in tokyo? I was in Osaka in 2003 but I never saw any fish stores, I did see one nice fish store in Hiroshima in 03 though.

I honestly have no idea which borough the stores were in in. My cousin drove me around but he speaks very little Englsih and my Japanese is limited to ordering sushi. I got the impression that they have a bunch especially in the western section of town and we had to do quite a bit of driving. I could try to get more specific addresses if you like.

I do have a bunch of addresses, but they are all in kanji so I can't read them. I think my translator is comming over the end of this month so I can have him translate them. Did you see many acans and micros?
