OT For Sale: 6 foot Red Tail Boa with Cage
The wife got this snake (she always wanted one) and tonight we went to put the cage in the house, and the cage is about an inch too long to get around the last corner into the room where it would need to go. Long story short, we can't keep the snake. The snake, cage (really a terrarium type of thing) goes to anyone for $200 or best offer. Here is a pic.

if I had a house without children (my sons afraid of snakes-he got bit in the eye by a boa-hes FINE!!!) I'd grab him!!! thats a good price, specially for that whole setup.
but, on top of not having money, My boyfriend has already told me no more pets... but I know he wants a puppy that the snake you showed would also make into a quick snack!!!
but, someone should grab this!!!! did you put the add in the kingsnake.com forums?

HE/SHE sure is pretty, and very healthy looking. Very Pastel like with the black only on the saddles (some are very spotted in between and boas in general are kind of graded on things based like that.) This snake is a steal for 200 with that huge cage! Someone should really pick this guy up! How old is it Paul? Male Female? How ling about? Approx dimensions of cage?

I don't know how to tell if it is male or female. It is about 4 years old. The dimensions of the cage are 65" x 29" x 40"
If no one here wants it I'll see if anyone does in the classifieds.

the only true way to tell is to get it probed...unfortunately I dont know any snake people in the cities to refer you to
you could go by size, but we dont know anything about your feeding schedule, etc, so that is very unreliable

yeah, you could call twin city reptile if your really curious and see if they could sex it. vets that deal with snakes could. you could try to get the hemi***** to protrude but you may get bit. i believe they all have the spikes by the butt, scientists beleive their remnants of legs(if iremember correctly) i havent dealt with snakes ib 10 years so im sure smeese would know more than me about it.
