We sit about 8 feet above a drainage pond and teh culvert plugged. Water came to within a foot from teh house. The neighbors got flooded and the pond overflowed over the street and down the cul-de-sac. Some neighbors had a couple feet of water in their basement. Buddy's pool two blocks down was about a foot deper than usual
Called the non-emergency to make them aware of teh flooded street and the neighbors perils and the b*tch on teh other end couldn't have cared less.
Finaly a cop showed up and he got the city to bring a backhoe to open the culvert again.
Made me think about what the people down south went through. This was bad enough here but peanuts compared to louisiana etc !!
