online coral order

Reefluvr and I are thinking of ordering from a place called Midwestcorals. Has anyone ordered from them? Comments?

Also does anyone want to join in on the order? We will place it prior to the Nov meeting, so we can bring the stuff with us on our trip to the big city

Check out the mushroom page for a laugh.

They have single "RARE" shrooms on there for $139. The same neon blue shrroms I got for free from Hans at my first TCMAS meeting at Stans. Ands those reds ones they have, I give those away, or I did until I gave the whole rock away.

I was surprised by some they called rare too, like the watermelons.

What is the story on the pink ones? I have never heard of pink mushrooms. I love pink, so I am considering those, but hope they are not just a bleached red.
I am referring to the light pink, not the "rare" darker pinks.

The surharsonoi is pretty cool. Got a frag of it a month or so ago but the parent colony had branches that were much more regular and uniform.

This place sounds pricey to me I think if your going to do business with them your going to get ripped. Some of the stuff they call rare is very common. JMHO

Holy crap---their prices are ridiculous...

I've got a ton of the "green tipped yuma"--and I can give you a way better deal than $90/polyp.

Hi there,

I might suggest putting out a call for what you want on the list here, and see who has what locally before ordering. The prices seem high to me, and I'm sure you can get a better deal locally.

Hey there are some good online places for ordering coral it's just that this one is out of line on price IMO. Some of the best things I have bought have come from online dealers. Of course I live in Duluth and brown corals in the LFS are common here.

Not a whole lot of selection of those fuzzy sticks that you say your adding to your tank. I would look within the club. Be sneaky about it. I have not bought any corals on line(yet) and only a few in the LFS. Should I pick up something from Dirks for ya and hold it in my tank till you can come get it? See, I'm being sneaky.
