Need sump ideas.

I have a 37 gallon cube which has a foot print of 24"x18". It is on a standard oceanic stand. I got a 10 gallon with it that was the sump originaly. but the volume of my skimmer alone is 3.7 gallons. I need some thing larger, but dont have a lot of $$ to spend. From what I can figure I could fit a tank that is about 15.5"x15.5" x20"ish in the stand below the tank. The skimmer will be external. Need ideas. I was thinking of doind a acrylic sump, but couldnt afford to pay for labor in addition to materials, since I dont have the right equipment to do acrylic. Or I cpould DIY a new stand, but I am terrible with wood working.

HELP!!!!!!

have you looked at rubbermaid tubs? lots of sizes. if you gota make a hole, be careful cuz they may shatter. and brace the sides with a wood frame so they dont bow out.
