need help w/ a favia brain coral

nees some help, think it dying
I got a real nice one from JNS it was about 6" around, softball sized, and it looked ok at first I think (its my first one) but was slowing dying around the edges, didn't think it was getting light around the edges, so I fragged it up, now it seems like it all dying. The mouths are open and its receeding around most of the edges ???? I need a digtial camera.
everything tests ok cal. a little low but I have slowing been bringing it back up not bad though cal = 340 and ph was 7.8 - 8.0
Its under 250 watt, 20k bulb in a 65 gal. tank its on the bottum with meduim flow on it 1.5" sand bed about 50 LBs. liverock

I also got a candy cane lord & another favia from him at the same time that are doing great and already are spreading to the rocks I glued them to.

what can I do or whats the best conditions for these do they like light or alot of flow, tried moving it around and no real luck ???

thanks Scott

might try getting more flow to some of the frags to see if that aids in recovery as well.
