My Plan for 07' Tank Move.

OK the 125 has to go, so I need to move things in the house.
The 125 was the tank with the Ich issues, but it has most all of my PRIMO live rock.
I also have the 120 in the living room with most of my fish (this tank stays as its in a built in wall unit). I did try to put the (3 month old)125 into the unit, but as the tank is 72" vs 60" id have to cut into the unit and the guy that made it said it will not work.
I plan to move all the fish out of the 120 and place them in a 30 QT in my basement. I also have some tubs in the basement to put the extra LR into.
Ill pull about 100# of LS out of the 120, if some one is looking (FREE).
I will then drill the 120 and paint the back black. I recall a post with a shop selling 120 60" PERFECTO for $160 (LMK if you have the post), as a new tank would be best.
I ordered a 48" MH hood 2x250 SE and VHO 2x110 actinics, should be here on the 8th. I will use my Octopus skimmer on the 120 (only skimmer I have till I win that ER ).
Step#2 is to move all the LS and LR from the 125 to the 120 (put leftovers in the tubs in the basement).
I plan to let the 120 run with all the stuff (Ich) from the 125 Fish-less for 2 months. Then ill add the fish back.
Any other ideas?
thanx
Pix
here is the stuff in the 125 that ill need to put in the 120.

How old is the live sand? I'm looking for a coating for the bottom of my tank and 100lbs might just do it.

basement tub (in water) for about 6 months, and about 2 months in the tank....its a mix, not all fine- has some crushed coral.
Past any cycle, and fish are doing fine.
fills a 60x18 tank about 3"....ill have some LR to trade also.

you can see the sand here if you zoom in
