My New Favorite!

Here's a pic I took last night of my new favorite coral in my 450. I picked it up a week after hosting the November meeting. I got it from Something Fishy, the day it came in. It was actually brown with purple tips when I got it, now it looks like this...

Here's a close up. The coral is a little bigger than a softball.

Bill, The blue/green sheen that makes it so great in your tank isn't really noticable on the frag under just my 20K lights

That's too bad Dave. Maybe it will come out with time as it grows. The blue/green sheen is actually even more noticeable on the side with the Radiums in my tank. You'll have to come over sometime soon now that I've got them up. the more I see it the more I like it. They blend very well with the reflectors set parallel. I think I'm going to take a frag or two off of this guy and see what happens in some diferent areas of the tank and maybe under diferent lighting in the prop tanks.

Hi Bill,
That is a beautifull coral!
If and when you decide to frag it I would love a small frag to compliment my purple digitata. There would be retribution of course
Thanks,
Matt

Hey Bill,

Do you have any frags for sale? I think at one time you had some Acro's for like $10 or something. Do you have anything like that available?

The 450's doing great. I have decided to move all of the corals down from the 125 after I have de-bugged them. I will be turning the 125 into FOWLR. It's just too much work to keep both of them going as SPS tanks. I'm also going to take down the 55. If anyones interested in that equipment, let me know. This will be a slow process that i don't expect to be complete until springtime.

Regarding frags, I will have some available in April. I 'll post when I have stuff ready to go. Thanks
