I think I am going to put a Dark or Medium Oak stain on it should look good? I still have to paint the inside white ,get some fans on the side and mount the end caps. is there any order on how I should mount them?

I like darker stains, I'm sure it will look great no matter which on you pick.
How big is this tank again? What lights are you putting in? The order shouldn't matter. The number of fans your gonna need depends on the size and what kinda lights your planning on using.

Thats the setup up I have 2 actinic blue and 2 10,000K white, I'd leave room for the MH's, thats what I did. I just got the Aqualight Retrofit kit, but you made your reflector and the kit comes with one. Do you have a ballast yet?

You can buy all the parts seperate, I just made it easy on myself. It was only $165 for the kit. Came with polished reflector, 2 blue, 2 white bulbs, ballast, and water resistant endcaps and power cords. I thought it was a pretty good deal.
