mutant starfish

Has anyone ever had a problem with those tiny weird looking starfish? The ones I have in my tank are small (less then 1/2") in size, and are kind of a grayish tan color.
I wasnt too concerned with them before because they mainly were on the glass and rocks and didnt seem to be bothering the corals. But the other night I noticed they are killing my pipe organ by camping out on the tubes so I started pulling them out. In 2 nights I have pulled out 145 of these little suckers and was wondering if there is an easier way to get rid of them. I had heard that harliquin shrimp will eat them but when I went to a local LFS I was told that they dont?
Being that this was a LFS telling me NOT to buy something I figured I would check with other members to see if anyone can confirm one way or the other. Or if someone has other suggestions on how to control these guys I would love to hear it.

Thanks,
Ken

Great link Mark, thank you very much. After reading the article on the GARF site I wonder if this is the reason my SPS polyps are not extending.

I have a few of those in my tank. They seem harmless and I haven't see too many of them. Now I will have to keep an eye on them if they populate that fast.
