Moonlights?
So are you supposed to leave the moonlights/leds on all night? Or just for a couple hours before/after the lights come on?
Thanks

LED's should last a very long time, so I'd leave them run. That is what I do, and one less timer is a good thing

My ACII simulates the moon cycles. Sometimes the moon is out during the day and the tank is completely dark at night.
It probably doesn't really matter but if you wanna make it somewhat realistic, go all the way

Speaking of moonlights, I bought three of these moonlights: http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewIt...roduct=CU01650
1 regular, and two luner links. Turns out it was way too bright, and I am only using one. I would like to keep one as backup, but I will give away the other one. You can either get a power supply from Radio Shack, or if someone was thinking of getting a few of these, just order one less and take my extra.

I am interested in the lunar lights. What DC voltage do you need for them to run on or AC power supply?

My extra moonlight is gone. That took about three minutes.

Had water in if for about a month now. Its only a 15H with 2x65 watt lunar aqualight. Has 2x 3/4 watt leds built in. Don't have much in the tank since it's pretty new, just some zoa's. (Super Duper Awsome Hot pinks with white mouth I scored from Jerry) And a peice of a favia coral. Just put in the cleanup crew last weekend.
I am in the process of building a 20H as well that is going to be awsome. Will have a sump, closed loop and a custom stand for it. I am going to try to build something like Troy's (stuckey_t) stand that has a ledge around it. That way I will have more room underneath the stand. (20H is a pretty small footprint to work with.)
Once I get the 20H done I will just pick up my rock pieces from this tank. (Can take them out in two pieces) I will post some pictures this weekend once I clean the glass.
