Missing 2 Wrasses, 1 found.

So I havn't seen my cleaner wrasse in a couple days, I've also been gone one day, and I come home and cannot find my 6 line wrasse either. So I am poking around, and I finally decide I should check my Remora pre-skimmer filter box, who do I see stuck in there? My 6 Liner he seems okay, prolly been in there for a good solid 24 hours, still havn't seen my cleaner wrasse though which is odd. I didn't see him when I was doing aquascaping either

I wonder if he somehow got in my sump........Nope not in my sump.........Not crusty on the floor anywhere...........

I hate it when fish "disapear." Although most of us have pretty good clean-up. So if something dies it's gone pretty fast.

I had a fish take the overflow rollercoaster ride down to the sump. The danger down there is if they want to get back in the tank they need to take a ride thru the return pump impeller.

Ya I checked my sump, no way is it ever going to make it to the return pump, and if it did, which it won't, I have a screen on my bulkhead so we are safe there. The wrasse apparently wanted to do a Houdini act.
Atleast I found my 6 line and it seems all happy.

Sometimes fish may allude the eye on the floor. Check to ensure he is not "stuck" to any part of the sand etc.

Unfortunately, cleaner wrasses often "disappear", never being found.

Is it possible another tankmate could have made short work of it?
