MH bulbs for Hamilton light

What MH bulbs, besides Hamilton can I use with the 250 electronic ballast? I currently have 2 250 W, mogul bulbs, and am thinking of going with 20K bulbs. Does it really matter what bulb make I go with? Are there mogul bulbs bigger than others?

I think some are longer than others but are the same circumferance, and if your ballast is electronic you should be able to run most bulbs.

With eballasts it shouldn't matter, unless you go with DE bulbs, then the light nazis will mock you for not getting the full light output of a DE bulb on an eballast.

How do I know if I can get a DE bulb or not?

You need a special pendant to run a DE bulb. They do not screw in like the typical 250wt bulbs.

So who has one of the AquaConnect 14K bulbs? and are they worth it if I am running actinics?

I ran a Hamilton 14K, I think that is what it was, on a 175 Hamilton ballast and thought that it looked OK.
