looking for some bristleworms

I was wondering if I could get 6-12 plain ol' bristleworms from someone.
I am going to be setting my tank up next week and wanted to get a few established in the sand before any fish get in there.

I had to toss my sand from the old tank and a detritivore kit isn't really worth it for me at this point since all I want are bristleworms and mini-stars.

Oh yeah, anyone got mini-stars to spare, too?

Muchos thankos!

I have plenty of them. You are welcom to some. If you'ld also like to get some of the other sand critters we could trade a cup or two of sand.

contact John Geissler his small seahorse tank has more bristle worms per inch than I have seen in any of my tanks, kinda creepy actually. when he feeds the whole sand bed starts crawling and wriggling.
I am sure he will "spare" a few for ya

If none of the above options work you, let me know. I can 'spare' a few worms.

Cool.

I'll be in touch - likely with you fellas that involve minimal travel time.

Thanks everyone.

JJ,

Rumor has it you are moving/moved. Is the tank that Matt referenced still around? I actually do remember seeing that tank and he's right, more bristles than I've seen in any tank for sure!

Hi Graham....yup to both. The tank is still in the bedroom and full of bristle worms although not as full as before. Jan picked up a pysdochromis? (I think) and it did lessen the population but still pretty heavy. The problem with harvesting any of them is the tank is pretty tight for space and can't get at them with out tearing apart the rock. The largest population seems to be living in the rock at the base of the aquascaping....pretty well intrenched.

I bought a house in Cottage Grove but just now puting my house on the market so still in the same place till end of August. Not looking forward to moving especialy since there is a high probability that both place will close the same day. Don't have to fill in the rest of the blanks on that one....
