I believe everyone keeps their eyes open for cheap live rock! I found a guy in Madison WS that has some and is selling for $1 a pound live rock- had it for 9+ years. I live 11 hours from him though but would like to get some. It's 5 1/2 hours from the cities. Let me know if you want to go pick it up. I'll see if he still has some left. PM me

I have some live base and some dead base i am willing to part with. The live base has been in my system for more than a year and is the reefer rocks. I have a couple of boxes of hirocks that I have been soaking and cleaning you could have one box of that.
PM me if your interested.

I have a box each of:

reef bones
reefer rocks
hirocks premium
and hirocks basic large?

reef bones and hirock basic large are crap for porasity. The reef bones do look a tad nicer (eye of the beholder) but they are as solid as.... rock.

The other two are debatably worth looking into IMO IME.

Pics for BB

As you requested

This pic is from the hi rocks each is the best rock of each batch. The one on the left is a lot like the rock from reefer rocks.

Most of what I have extra is from the "regular hi rocks". Its simply not great stuff, but if your looking for rock on the cheep Ill give it to you for 50c per LB. I have some of the nicer stuff in my tank and would part with that for 1buck a pound. I think one of the rocks is 25-30lb itself. Though I recall trying to break it down some because it was so enormous I couldn't get it in my 75 at first!
